Anisa Jordan serves as Ethics Education Counsel for the Illinois ARDC. As Ethics Education Counsel Anisa helps develop and implement continuing legal education courses for Illinois lawyers focused on the Illinois Supreme Court Rules of Professional Conduct and general professionalism. Prior to joining the ARDC Anisa practiced criminal defense as a solo practitioner for nearly eight years and spent another six years prior as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Kristin Barnette McCarthy is a trial attorney at Schwartz Jambois focusing her practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, as well as other catastrophic injuries. She has tried in excess of 100 jury trials to verdict, has successfully argued and achieved reversal before the 7th Circuit United States Court of Appeals, as well as in the First District Appellate Court, and obtained hundreds of settlements for both individual and corporate clients.
