The North
Suburban Bar Association’s mission
is to serve the needs of its
membership by advancing
professionalism, ethical conduct,
diversity, competence, practice
development and collegiality in the
legal professional. In addition,
the North Suburban Bar Association,
(“NSBA”), strives to ensure the
fairness and accessibility of the
legal system, promote public
understanding and confidence in the
justice system, and to work closely
with the Circuit Court of Cook
County to improve the administration
of justice.
The NSBA
sponsors monthly meetings and events
for professional career and legal
development, continuing legal
education, fundraising, and
community outreach endeavors. These
include the annual Installation
Dinner, Holiday Party, Gary Wild
Dinner, Law Day, Judges Night, and
many others. The NSBA also has a
strong Attorney Referral Program for
anyone in need of legal services.
Members also receive the NSBA
monthly newsletter as well as
periodic emails on its list serve
for information about legal news,
community events, and its member’s
professional accolades and
achievements. The NSBA is also a
member of the Suburban Bar Coalition
and participates in judicial
evaluation of retention candidates.
